Chinese New Year Gathering in Tangkak, 2007

18 February 2007 marked the first day of the Chinese New Year. We had a gathering at Ng Kim Keong's place in the evening. It was attended by 20 of us, not too bad even though more would have been better.

The names of people who attended were as follows, for the benefit of those not attending the gathering so that the faces of ex-Ledang 1970 can be updated.
Standing from clockwise: Pang Ching Sing, Tey Chee Yan, Chou Kan Yin, Lee Chin Meng, Low Choon Foi, Chua Kim Teck, Tey Heng Hong, Choo Nyan Hee, Boo Hian, Huang Yuet Ngor.
Sitting from clockwise: Ang Ah Kiow, Boon Ah Moy, Goh Kai Huan, Ng Kim Keong, Seng Ah Ngoh, Agatha Liow, Tan Eng Chuan, Gan Chong Cher.

Kuan Lee Kam and Tey Cheng Kang were missing as they had to leave early so as to start their long onward journeys.

The Ledang Blogs are already 1 year old. I am taking this opportunity to review them with an eye to make them more interesting.

Secondly, I will post any news or happenings from among us in this blog so that anyone who opens the blog knows what the latest news or happenings are. If you can spare some of your time to write to me, I will get it posted. Remember, the whole world can see what is written or posted, so the decision is yours. You might want your other friends to see a grand occassion of yours without having you to put up a blog yourself and this is a good vehicle for your friends and us to know it.

Irene's daughter, Anne David is getting married this week-end, 18 November,2006.
I cannot be there and I understand it will also be kind of gatherings of the Ledang friends at the wedding which will be held at St. Paul's Church, Lorong Utara Kecil, Petaling Jaya.
Hope it will be an enjoyable weekend for all those there. Can somebody send me some pictures after the occassion?
